Sponsors and Partners
As the only patient initiative dedicated to primary aldosteronism, the Foundation is uniquely positioned to provide access to a diverse and engaged constituent base. Our worldwide reach makes us an ideal vector to convene corporate and industry leaders with interest in improving health outcomes. While giving the Foundation greater financial flexibility to achieve its mission, corporate partners also engage with the organization at various levels to enhance its efforts in advocacy, care delivery, research, and community development.
Headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, Mineralys Therapeutics LLC is a private, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company committed to developing best-in-class, novel therapy for the treatment of hypertension. The company and the Primary Aldosteronism Foundation share the same vision of a paradigm-shifting approach to the unmet medical needs of millions of patients affected by elevated aldosterone. Recognizing this alignment, Mineralys Therapeutics LLC awarded the Foundation seed money to enable its day-to-day operation while it takes the necessary steps to ensure sustainable growth of its long-term programs.

Other Foundations and Non-Profit Organizations
Since excess aldosterone is involved in numerous diseases, the Foundation is prioritizing relationships with organizations dedicated to advancing co-occurring disorders. Through this effort, shared values are used as a basis to building capacity and achieving common objectives.
Research and Academia
The Foundation partners with research and academic institutions worldwide to, among others, include patients’ lived experiences in the research process, disseminate findings, and leverage implementation research. At the center of this network, medical centers and teaching hospitals play a key role in updating curricula so that healthcare providers can adequately diagnose and treat primary aldosteronism.
Business Development and Technology
Do you offer a product or service that can benefit patients with primary aldosteronism? Do you develop and support physicians’ portals? Do you develop clinical research applications? Do you specialize in cause marketing? These are a few of the factors critical to the Foundation’s growth and where partnerships can have a meaningful impact.
To enable the paradigm shift that will lead to optimum care, the Foundation is also building partnerships with payors, public health and regulatory agencies so that primary aldosteronism is no longer considered rare, and the needed frameworks are implemented to incentivize diagnosis and treatment at-scale. At-scale provision of care also requires involving clinics, hospitals, specialists and primary care physicians so that unmet medical needs are addressed for all affected patients. Online directories and knowledge translation are some of the collaborative efforts deployed by the Foundation to this effect.
