The Primary Aldosteronism Foundation is dedicated to advancing standards of care for patients with hyperaldosteronism by promoting timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment, fostering targeted research and innovation, and facilitating patient collaboration. The Foundation serves the primary aldosteronism community worldwide, and is headquartered in the US state of Arizona.

Web and Graphic Designer

Responsibilities and Qualifications

We are looking for a volunteer knowledgeable about web design to help keep the website of the Primary Aldosteronism Foundation up-to-date. We anticipate an average of 5 hours of your time will be needed per week (no updates may be needed for several weeks, while other periods may be a little busier).

You will collaborate with our web manager and content provider to:

  • Modify existing pages and create new ones,
  • Design needed features and edit images,
  • Test the updates to make sure they are fully functional and free of typos.

The work requires expertise with:

  • WordPress and Elementor,
  • Dynamic fields and posts,
  • CSS and HTML (knowledge of JavaScript and PHP would be helpful),
  • Implementing design for web and mobile,
  • Graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator).

Location

We work remotely, and will consider all applicants regardless of their area of residence.

Development Associate

We are looking for an energetic Development Associate to help the organization strategically achieve its mission, drive new sources of revenue, and build relationships with new stakeholders while maintaining those already established across the healthcare sector.

This is a volunteer position with immediate potential for financial compensation for the right candidate.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

You will assist the Co-Directors with:

  • Developing a revenue mix to ensure the organization’s sustained growth,
  • Supporting planned activities such as professional and fundraising events,
  • Researching grants, and preparing proposals and applications,
  • Identifying new development opportunities and potential partners.

The successful applicant will be resourceful and motivated to grow the Foundation’s outreach. Prior non-profit experience is strongly desirable along with proficiency in financial analysis, and familiarity with relevant software (e.g., CRM platforms, Google Analytics).

Meetings and Time Commitment

Your attendance at biweekly or monthly meetings will be expected. We anticipate a minimum of 5 to 10 hours of your time will be needed each week. There is immediate potential for additional hours and financial compensation for the right candidate.
