Specialists

Endocrinologists, nephrologists, cardiologists, endocrine surgeons, and interventional radiologists diagnose and treat primary aldosteronism. To help patients locate skilled physicians, we maintain a directory of specialists worldwide. Inclusion is conditional upon review of credentials (e.g., years in practice, number of patients treated, number of successful adrenal venous sampling procedures). Specialists with lower case volume may be included when patients report positive care experiences. In this instance, a disclaimer is added to the physician’s profile.

Choosing a specialist is patients’ sole responsibility. We strongly encourage all patients to thoroughly review any information they receive, regardless of its source. The Foundation is not responsible for the quality of care provided by physicians listed in its directory. Upon notification of substandard practices and/or medical errors, the Foundation promptly initiates reviews, and when warranted, removes the concerned physicians from its listings.
