Areas of Practice: Dr. Hamrahian is an associate professor of medicine at John Hopkins and an endocrinologist with specialized experience in the treatment of adrenal and pituitary disorders. He is the medical director of the Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Adrenal Center. He has particular expertise in the treatment of primary aldosteronism including dynamic testing and multidisciplinary collaboration. He leads the biweekly adrenal tumor board through the Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Adrenal Center. Dr. Hamrahian has published more than 80 peer-reviewed articles, and has served as a co-author in developing guidelines for adrenal and pituitary disorders. He has presented at national and international conferences and has served as the principal investigator for a number of clinical research studies.
