Areas of Practice: Professor Stowasser’s special interests include the assessment of severity of hypertension (e.g. home and ambulatory monitoring); investigations seeking evidence of cardiovascular and renal target organ damage; the diagnosis and management of endocrine forms of hypertension (e.g. primary aldosteronism, renovascular hypertension, pheochromocytoma); the management of resistant hypertension; and the investigation and management of adrenal mass lesions.
