The University Hospital of Würzburg consists of 19 clinics with polyclinics and three autonomous polyclinics as well as four clinical institutes. The hospital takes care of about 52,000 in-patients and about 200,000 out-patients each year. In addition, the hospital offers many clinical centers in which interdisciplinary cooperation take center stage. The University of Würzburg’s Medical School has a strong connection to the hospital and clinics. Patients suspected to have primary aldosteronism are diagnosed and treated within the Endocrine Unit of Medical Clinic and Polyclinic I.
